Don’t Be A Sitting Duck has teamed up with Concealed Carry License Florida to now offer ONLINE CONCEALED CARRY COURSES. For those of you that are looking for the convenience of doing your course at home or still do not feel comfortable exposing yourself to covid any more than you must then this is the way to go.
You would complete an online course that would cover all the same topics we cover in person including where you can and can not carry, traveling with a firearm, justified use of force, home defense and other things to consider when carrying a firearm daily. We will also go over the entire filing process so when you get your certificate you will be ready to file for your license.
Once the online course is completed, you will be required to schedule part two at one of our various locations around Central Florida and demonstrate that you can safely discharge a firearm in the presence of one of our instructors as this will complete the standards set forth by the state. This will be a quick one on one shooting session that will last 15 minutes where we will ensure you understand how to handle a firearm safely and this will also be an opportunity for us to answer any other questions you may have. Once you have completed the shooting session you will receive a certificate to use as your proof of training when filing with the state for your license.
This course is $80, the full amount will be due at sign up where you will be given access to then complete the online course within 30 days. You will need to fully complete the online course and you will then be provided the information to schedule your shooting session at one of our conveniently located locations throughout Central Florida.
