Let’s be real, the shooting requirements for your G Security License are pretty basic so Don’t Be A Sitting Duck has created a course that will take your skills with a handgun to the next level. In this course we will start off with a fundamentals check but quickly advance on to movement, contact distance shooting, use of cover and other skills that will better prepare students for the variety of threats they may encounter in the field that the 28 hours G course may of lacked. This course can also be used as your yearly requalification that is required to maintain your G Security License as we will end the course by shooting the state qualification and crown the top shot for the day.

It is $125 to schedule and that does cover your range fees.

These courses will also cover your yearly 4 hour Handgun Re-qualification so you can be up to date on all the latest laws and keep your shooting skills on point with your handgun as well. All training meets requirements set by the Division of Licensing and is done by a state licensed K instructor. It is $150 each to schedule, these fees do cover your range fees.

Our certified instructors will work with you at a pace that is custom tailored to your skill level so that whether you are a new shooter or seasoned marksman you walk away with some tips and tricks to up your abilities.

You can bring your own handgun with 50 rounds of factory-loaded ammunition or for an additional fee we can provide everything you need, just be sure to reach out before class to arrange rental.

The cost for this course is $100, and they are offered at Volusia Gun Club. We do require you to sign up prior to arrival so get your spot reserved today
