Handgun 101
Would you like to sign up for a “first shots” shooting course and spend 2 hours standing at a bench learning how to shoot 10 rounds at a bullseye? Yeah, neither would we.
We have taken the same crawl, walk, run structure from training armed officers for over a decade and created a course that builds student’s confidence with a firearm in just a few hours all while having a great time.
With courses being no more than 5 students we are able to work with every student more and send everyone home with the confidence to protect themselves and others.
Whether you are a new shooter looking to learn or an experienced shooter wanting to up your skills this is the course for you.
The $180 sign up fee includes a 3-4 hour course, a firearm, holster, all ammunition needed (150rds) and ear protection. The only thing you need to bring is eye protection, water and whatever snacks you want.
Unless you are planning on getting attacked by a bullseye target come learn how to truly defend yourself, we promise you won’t regret it.
This course can also qualify as a Concealed Weapon Course so if you need a certificate for the state let us know.
These courses are held at Volusia County Gun Club located at 4845 E. SR 44 New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168. You will need to fill out a waiver before arriving so be sure to check your email once you sign up. We will be outside so water, snacks and a hat would be recommended.
